Conference planning committee application

Application Due: June 13, 2025

The FGLI Consortium solicits applications to serve on the conference planning committee. Applicants must have attended one of our previous FGLI Consortium Annual Conferences, one of our Annual Colloquia, OR at least three monthly professional development virtual workshops. Under the auspices of the FGLI Consortium Executive Committee, the Planning Committee will play a key role in ensuring the Annual Conference is a success. Conference Planning Committee members are required to be members of the FGLI Consortium.

In acknowledgement of their work, planning committee members will receive $100 off the cost of registration for the 2025 conference.

application process & important information

Prior to submitting an application, each prospective committee member must agree to the following commitments, if selected:

  • Attending all virtual meetings (approximately one large group meeting/month and one sub-committee meeting/month through November)

  • Organizing and executing subcommittee tasks for the conference (some committees might require approximately 5-8 hours/month for the six months leading up to the conference)

  • Attending and fully participating in the Annual Conference

Timeline

All applications are due by June 13, 2025. Applications will be reviewed by the FGLI Consortium Executive Committee and applicants will be notified of a decision by June 20, 2025.
