FGLI Consortium Administrator Conference
Conference planning committee application
Application Due: June 1, 2026
The FGLI Consortium solicits applications to serve on the conference planning committee. Applicants must have attended one of our previous FGLI Consortium Annual Conferences, one of our Annual Colloquia, OR at least three monthly professional development virtual workshops. Under the auspices of the FGLI Consortium Executive Committee, the Planning Committee will play a key role in ensuring the Annual Conference is a success, particularly through the selection of session proposals. Conference Planning Committee members are required to be members of the FGLI Consortium.
In acknowledgement of their work, planning committee members will receive $100 off the cost of registration for the 2026 conference.
application process & important information
Prior to submitting an application, each prospective committee member must agree to the following commitments, if selected:
Attending all virtual meetings (1-2 meetings per month)
Fulfilling Proposal Review tasks (approximately 5-8 hours/month):
Reviewing proposal submissions (round 1 review will take place in July 2026 and round 2 in September 2026)
Communicating results and feedback to presenters
Organizing themes and streams
In collaboration with the Executive Committee, determining the scheduled order of presentations and panels
Attending and fully participating in the Annual Conference, filling volunteer positions as needed
Timeline
All applications are due by June 1, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by the FGLI Consortium Executive Committee and applicants will be notified of a decision by June 15, 2026.
